You’ll notice we talk about being the gold standard in event planning and design. To us, that means making sure that every detail is thought of, and every event carried out with elegance and style. It does not mean big budget. We are big believers in the fact that anyone can afford a gorgeous, elegant, unforgettable event if they have the right ideas and the right resources. We provide both.

About Us- Good as Gold

We think you’ll appreciate the warm, down-to-earth personalities you’ll find at Gold Ribbon Events- not to mention the five-plus years of event planning experience. Proprietors and sisters-in-law Georgia and Maria Paxos grew up planning family events before ever making it their profession. Georgia, a graduate of George Mason University and Maria, a U of Akron grad are both certified as wedding planners by the American Academy of Wedding Planners. Along with being planners, sisters and friends, they are the co-proprietors of Gold Ribbon Gourmet, a pastry business in Northeast Ohio.
